Season Opening Party at the BCA!

The Minnesota Wild Mascot "Nordy" is coming to Bemidji!

Nov 2nd at the BCA from 4-6pm

Minnesota Hockey and the Minnesota Wild along with Total Hockey donated 24 sets of free equipment to BYHA this summer for kids to try hockey.  They are very happy to announce that Nordy will be making an appearance to our boys and girls in Bemidji.

Scope of the Event

The Gear Up Minnesota! equipment grant program grants sets of starter hockey equipment to deserving associations through an application process each spring. The goal of the program is to continue to grow the game at the grassroots level by making entry into hockey as affordable as possible. The Bemidji Youth Hockey Association applied for an equipment grant last winter and was granted 24 sets of new starter hockey equipment for the 2011-12 season. Bemidji will use the equipment to offer hockey gear free of charge for kids who would like to try hockey for the first time.  The program is funded by generous grants from the Minnesota Wild Foundation and Total Hockey.
