Did you know....
...that BYHA is a non-profit, volunteer based organization, commited to the kids it serves. All BYHA board members are volunteers and are not paid in any way for the time they donate to the association.
What are the Home Tournaments all about?
Members of BYHA are required to volunteer to work our home tournaments in a variety of ways. These tournaments are an extremely important revenue stream for our organization. Your Team Manager will fill you in further at the beginning of the year as to your requirments. They are a lot of fun too!
Where do I register?
BYHA registration is done online by clicking on the Registration link on the home page. For help with this, contact the BYHA Registrar.
What is the HDC?
The HDC stands for Hockey Development Committee and is made up of both current and past members of BYHA, hockey coaches that may or may not have kids in the program and other folks who have a strong background in hockey. Focusing on coaches, evaluation of coaches, skill development are just a few items this very important committee is involved with. For more info on HDC, please contact the HDC Committee Chairperson.
What does 10U, 12U & 14U mean?
The "U" stands for "under" and the number is the age. A 10U skater would be a girl skater that is under 10 years old by June 30th of the current year.
