Meeting Room Rules

 1) Reservations can be made by emailing a BYHA Board member.

 

2) Reservations can be viewed online

3) Reserved meetings have priority over non-reserved meetings

4) The community meeting room will be available for use during the hours of 4pm —10:00 p.m. (schedule subject to change)

5) Approval will only be granted for a single meeting or for a brief series of meetings extending no longer than two weeks.  The community meeting room is not intended for a non-BYHA group’s regular meeting place. 

6) The community meeting room is available to non-profit organizations for educational, cultural and other meetings of interest to the general public

7) For-profit organizations may use the community meeting room for staff training, interviewing, staff activities, and for public information, but not for sales or solicitation.

8) BYHA and BCA activities have first priority, therefore the BYHA/BCA reserves the right to cancel any outside events as needed.  

9) Food and beverages may be served, however users must provide their own utensils and supplies.  Trash receptacles are available for use.     

10 No alcoholic beverages or tobacco products are allowed. 

11) $50 refundable deposit required for all non-BYHA use

12 Community meeting room use must be in accordance with approved policies.  Any use other than that specified on the use agreement will result in the immediate cancellation of all present and future reservations for the organization.

      a) Take pride in the BCA - clean up!

      b) If a BYHA group does not leave room in satisfactory condition, they will be held accountable and room usage will be halted

      c) If a non-BYHA group does not leave room in satisfactory condition, they will be held accountable and $50 deposit will be deposited by BHYA

13) Neither the BYHA or BCA is not responsible for accidents, injury or loss resulting from use of the meeting room.

14) Those attending meetings are responsible for supervising their children.  Organizations whose members’ children are habitually unsupervised will lose their meeting room privileges.
