Seedings for Section 8AA were announced on Wednesday, Feb. 16, and as expected, Bemidji was unanimously selected as top seed. Meanwhile, No. 2 Moorhead, No. 3 Roseau and No. 4 Brainerd have aspirations for upsets.

The rankings are as follows:

• No. 1 - Bemidji
• No. 2 - Moorhead
• No. 3 - Roseau
• No. 4 - Brainerd
• No. 5 - St. Cloud Tech
• No. 6 - Monticello-Annandale-Maple Lake
• No. 7 - Buffalo
• No. 8 - River Lakes
• No. 9 - Becker-Big Lake

No. 8 River Lakes and No. 9 Becker-Big Lake will faceoff in the lone opening round game on Saturday, Feb. 19. The winner will advance to second round action on Tuesday, Feb. 22 to take on No. 1 Bemidji.
