By registering, teams acknowledge and agree that games may begin as early as 8:00 a.m. on Friday, including school days, which may require players to miss school time.

Based on ice availability, teams should expect to play four games, with the possibility of a fifth game during the weekend. Our goal, based on past team feedback, is to keep most schedules to four total games whenever possible.

Typical scheduling is as follows:

• Friday: One game (occasionally two)
• Saturday: Two games
• Sunday: One game

Tournament format may include a combination of pool play, bracket play, or other structures, depending on final team numbers and divisions. Final formats will be announced closer to the event date.

Please register only if you are confident your team will attend. We have experienced an increasing number of cancellations, which creates scheduling challenges for all teams.

Cancellation Policy

• Registration fees are generally non-refundable if a team cancels.
• A refund may be possible if:
• another replacement team is secured, or
• the canceling team provides its own replacement.

While we will do our best to assist teams in finding a replacement, responsibility for replacing a canceled entry does not rest solely with the tournament.

We appreciate teams registering early and communicating promptly if plans change.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Our 12UB tournament will feature eight teams competing in a competitive, four-game format designed to keep every team in contention throughout the weekend.

Each team will play a Friday night play-in game. These games will be designated as Pool A through Pool D, and the results of those games will determine each team’s placement into the tournament bracket that commences on Saturday morning.

Once the Friday night play-in games are complete, teams will be placed into an eight-team championship bracket. The bracket is structured so that the winners of the Friday night games will face teams that lost their Friday night games in the opening round of bracket play.

This format means that a loss on Friday night does not eliminate a team from championship contention. Every team will continue through the bracket, giving each team an opportunity to make a run at the championship.

WEEKEND SCHEDULE

Every team is guaranteed four games throughout the weekend:

Friday: 1 game — Play-In

Saturday: 2 games — Bracket Play

Sunday: 1 game — Bracket Play / Championship

There will be no ties throughout the tournament. All games will follow our established overtime rules, with overtime used as necessary to determine a winner.

The result is a competitive weekend where every team is guaranteed four games and remains in the hunt for the championship after Friday night.
