with Bemidji Youth Hockey Association!

BYHA is excited to partner with Sanford Sports to offer multiple options this fall.

You may choose to attend some or all of the offered sessions for your age level. 

Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. 

USA Hockey Requirement

Each player must be registered with USA Hockey, which is also a registration requirement for our regular season.

GAME STRUCTURE

● 4 teams will play each day, 12 minute games 3 games per day

● Depending on goalies games will be played either cross ice or tag up above the blue line

TEAM STRUCTURE

● Each team will be roughly 8-10 Skaters, boys and girls will be mixed together for the 3v3 league. Each age group will have 4 Teams [Except Bantam/Jr Gold - see below]

● Goaltenders will rotate between teams or be placed on a specific team, depending on registration

Bantams/Jr Gold:

● Your schedule has 3 days per week [Monday/Wednesday/Friday], however teams will play in 2 of the 3 days. Example: Team 1 will play Monday/Wednesday, Team 4 will play Monday/Friday. To maintain consistency we will work to have the same dates every week. This will allow players who are multi-sport to participate without missing a game day.

DIVISION BREAKDOWN

● Termite / 6U | Open Hockey Style | $50

● Mite 1/2 / 8U | 3v3 League | $75

● Squirt / 10U | 3v3 League | $75

● Peewee / 12U | 3v3 League | $75

● Bantam / Jr Gold | 3v3 League | $90
